Here you have an overview of the experience of Glamping at Viacha - 2 Days/1 night
Arrive in the community of Viacha, here Mr. Vicitacion and his family will gratefully welcome you! Get settled at your glamping tent, then accompanied by the family members, enjoy a delicious lunch made in ancient traditional mud stoves. After lunch, you’ll visit the little “cuy” (Guinea pig) farm of the family, see how these little rodents are raised and fed, here you’ll be able to check some of the traditional tools used for grow and harvest of native products.
Have some time to go around the community and to behold the beauty of the mountains around. Learn how to “chacchar” (Chew) the sacred Coca leafs and offer some to the Pachamama and the most important Apus of the place. If you are curios see how dinner is made at traditional mud stoves, help is always welcome! At night, after dinner, dance with the members of the family, share stories, or simply enjoy the tranquility and the starry sky.
Finally, enjoy a glamping experience, rest under the stars.
Wake up and feel the magic of the place, have a traditional Andean breakfast with the family and then take pictures with local animals like alpacas, llamas and sheeps. Afterward make a 30-minutes hike to the cave paintings, here try to unlocking the mystery of them. Finally say good bye to the family, and continue to your next destination.
You can go to the viewpoint of Pisac sites instead and if desired from here continue to the sites and Pisac town.
