Here is an overview of the Viacha Glamping Experience – 2 Days / 1 Night
You will be picked up in Pisac and driven to the remote community of Viacha. Upon arrival, Mr. Vicitacion and his family will warmly welcome you. Settle into your glamping tent and begin experiencing daily life with the family.
Visit the small cuy (guinea pig) farm, learn how these animals are raised, and see traditional tools used to grow and harvest native crops.
Walk around the community and enjoy the stunning mountain landscapes. Learn how to “chacchar” (chew) sacred coca leaves and offer them to Pachamama and the local Apus.
If you are curious, see how dinner is prepared in traditional mud stoves—help is always welcome. In the evening, share stories with the family, enjoy traditional music or simply admire the peaceful Andean night and starry sky.
Rest and enjoy a unique glamping experience under the stars.Wake up to the magic of the Andes and share a traditional Andean breakfast with the family. Take photos with local animals such as alpacas, llamas and sheep, and say goodbye to the family.
Afterward, you may take a 30-minute hike to the cave paintings, one of the most fascinating sites in Viacha, and try to unlock the mystery behind them. You can also visit the Pisac viewpoint, and from there continue to the archaeological site or the town of Pisac. These visits can be done on your own or accompanied by a member of the family for an additional cost, before continuing to your next destination.
